While the scientific process is well described in your proposal, it would be great to see how the research results will be shared or used in a way that benefits the native population in the area. Can you outline some project benefits in the 1-2 year time frame as you start the research? Is there any way you can apply research results to benefit local farmers as you progress scientifically?

Shree, Thank you very much for reading the proposal! I wonder if I might ask you to expand on your comment a bit? The overall goal of the project is to increase understanding for drought and climate change by Pamiris, objective 2 includes providing seasonal updates and climate change assessments, and the time line includes communicating locally-relevant climate information. Did you feel that those were too vague in terms of benefits or was it not clear that those were aimed at the local population?
