After post-graduation in A & A Economics, I started my career as a Researcher on development studies. I got the opportunity to enhance my understanding on different factors affecting life and livelihood of the tribal hinterland of Odisha. Subsequently, I entered into development sector in which I could use my research based learnings through community level processes and policy advocacy at the state level. During my involvement in different development interventions, I have gathered experiences on community mobilization for land, farm sector development through direct support and integration with the government development programmes, practice level changes through creating models and influencing policy through citizenry process like budget watch, community monitoring, and social audit and community report cards. I have completed Ph.D in Economics.  Presently, I am working as a Programme Officer (Economic Justice) in Oxfam India.
