Caleb Wafula is the assistant program officer at Church World Service (CWS) in the Africa division. Caleb is a highly confident, highly motivated and competitive individual with proven skills in engaging communities and anchoring institutions to participate in organized society tasks geared an enhancing community resilience. He has an analytical and inquisitive mind with a demonstrable record of high achievement in creating and implementing innovative bottom up community empowerment strategies. As a committed, hardworking professional who enjoys being part of a successful and productive team, Caleb has successfully researched, developed and facilitated development programs aimed at building community resilience and capacity to understand and effectively respond to climate extremes and climate-induced disasters. With 7 years working experience; Caleb has a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental studies-Community Development major and is a Masters candidate, thesis level in Peace and Conflict Studies at Kenyatta University. His thesis focuses on the Multi-Causal Analysis of Protracted Conflicts in Kenya.
