Recyclebot dApp allows any waste buyer to source specific waste directly from the producer with cryptocurrency, giving you the ability to buy, sell and trade any solid waste from anywhere in the world.
We automatically capture accurate GPS locations and aggregate waste data by type and location, connect waste buyers to waste sellers, and create optimal schedules and routes for efficient transfer, and allow P2P payments both locally and globally, using Artificial Intelligence.

- Per capita solid waste generation at 1.2kg per day, projected to reach 1.42kg by 2025 (Hoornweg, Daniel; Bhada-Tata, Perinaz. 2012.)
- 8 million tons of plastic waste enters oceans, 91% of plastic waste not recycled (WEF, 2016).
- Over $2.6 trillion worth of FMCGs sent to landfills and incineration plants (WEF, 2016)
A fully-decentralized P2P waste recycling platform could:
- Recover all recyclables at the point of sale and post consumption
- Ensure that only high-calorie waste enters waste-to-energy plants or get shipped to recyclers.

Bootstrapped by founders through customer development and MVP, the project costs to date include;
- Creating the Recyclebot app prototype (approximately 430 hours)
- Creating the RecyclebotWasteCoin ERC 20 Token on the Ropsten Test Network (approximately 180 hours)
- Creating RecyclebotWasteCoin ICO test website (approximately 30 hours)
- Time in writing the proposal (approximately 30 hours).
Based on a typical hourly rate for a professional engineer practicing in Zambia, other costs would total in dollars an estimated $33,500 – $167,500.
We are seeking $45,000 seed funding (target close by EOQ3), so we can:
