I was especially heartened to read that it is interplanted with other crops and that there is little concern about it becoming invasive, in Africa at least (GCB Bioenergy (2013) 5, 419–430, doi: 10.1111/gcbb.12011). Please continue to approach this pilot with due caution, so as not to repeat past mistakes. Cities are anxious for alternative fuels for district energy systems and transportation--good luck! |

If it is true that getting biodiesel could power the vehicles, I am of those who are for transition to electric cars. But in Africa the agro-food industry is rudimentary but has a huge potential that is currently untapped and when we know that in order to develop it we need electric power and heat, this conbustible then appears as an interesting alternative to feed the boilers ... |
