small actions, doesn't it all start there?
Turning off the thermostat down a few degrees can create a big difference in your wallet and energy efficiency, if everyone would do it it would reduce our energy dependency significantly.
turning off all those "idle" stand by modes of electric equipment saves a lot of energy (some use the same amount of power on stand by mode as it is in working mode) ...etc etc
Too bad the industry doesn't come up with smart solutions (yet!) to make this all go away so that the consumer doesn't have to worry about these things.

Hi Jan-K,
This is a very interesting suggestion and our team will look into how it could fit into our 2015 activities.
Of course, we welcome members at anytime to submit (to any of our contests) small-level examples of what can be done to address climate change. What could be particularly impactful is if the proposals also included the potential impact if the idea scaled significantly.
