Hi, Ohno creators. In my humble opinion this is a great idea, and one I feel could potentially take off like wildfire. Have you created a plan of expansion and support for low, medium and potentially high numbers of users in a short period of time? How do you decide which petitions to include - do you have an advisory board of climate change professionals for the game? How do you decide which international organizations to support or work with through the game? I'm very interested, and will check out the beta version. Thank you, Enthused

Enthused, So glad you like it. When Dylan first told me what he'd created my hair caught fire - we've been fighting this wicked problem for decades and this goes at the heart of it. Right now petitions and actions are vetted by us (we have long experience in the field but are not professional climate people - though I am doing me Masters in Sustainability and Environmental Management at Harvard). We do not (yet) have the problem of too many submissions, and you raise a good point for when we do. Many thanks, tell your friends! Quentin Easy to use info and instructions on how to vote for SaveOhno, for those less interested in the depth that MIT go to: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1E3yUG8CRQn3bcJKp4Mgx_kvFFGvHcW-GWAUv6XwV2p0/edit#heading=h.kzdzjon8x7y1

Hello Dylan and Quentin!

I would like to invite Ohno to join the FutureFlash! 2050 team who are busy collecting all the stories and artwork they can from 2015 (and each year thereafter) for their holographic Human Family Tree.  Ohno can play a major role at the global celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Earth Charter in 2050.

The FutureFlash! Project empowers young people -- and those who care about their future -- to make the change they want to see in the world.  The FutureFlash! Climate Challenge is an online game with real-world actions created for, by and with kids.  Our FutureFlash! Making the Game Club has developed about 20 game levels.  We have nothing online, but we know how it works -- and it will live and grow as people play.

Our vision is to create a traveling pop-up museum exhibit led by a train called the Global Warming Express, bringing to life a story (still unpublished) written by an 11-year-old girl.  The train introduces the community-wide Earth Charter Initiative, which leads to the online game.  Players contribute artwork, stories and videos for the Gift for the Earth, Our Home -- presented each year at the Anniversary of the Earth Charter.

I'm working with the Florida Coalition for Peace and Justice (an Earth Charter Affiliate) on the Florida Earth Charter Initiative.  We are collaborating with Florida Gulf Coast University (an Earth Charter Affiliate) and Earth Charter International at the University for Peace in Costa Rica.  The University of Florida and Pachamama Alliance are exploring ways to participate in the Florida Earth Charter Initiative.  Dave Finnigan (a fellow CoLab winner last year), Earthman and other climate educators are adding their magic in schools and community performances.

Please read the Earth Charter and let's talk about how to work and play together to change climate change!
