I like this proposal, as it can clearly benefit the effectiveness of NOAA's overall outreach and communication efforts. This seems to be a helpful but fairly basic educational tool. The "visualizing sea level rise for your favorite places" tool exists already (ClimateCentral, csc.noaa.gov). The proposal is very persuasive, and I found the use of demos/images useful to show how an app and a revised website will accomplish certain goals. We would like to see more information about how this differs from existing tools, and how you propose collaborating with an organization like NOAA and building on their existing tools.
