I have just completed a PhD in international law at the Australian National University in Canberra. My thesis concerned climate change-induced migration, adaptation and international law. I work at the Clean Energy Regulator, an Australian government agency tasked with implementing Australia's climate change abatement policy. I am German by birth, but have lived, worked and studied in the USA, United Kingdom, South Africa, New Zealand and Australia over the past 20 years.
