Mike Morrice is the Founder and Executive Director of Green Economy Canada, a network that launches, grows and promotes Green Economy Hubs. Hubs bring together, empower, and celebrate businesses as they set and achieve sustainability goals. Mike piloted the first Hub through Sustainable Waterloo Region (which he founded in 2008), and within five years, the Hub had engaged 14% of the local workforce while becoming financially self-sufficient. Today, there are 7 Green Economy Hubs across Ontario supporting over 250 businesses, who have collectively reduced over 47,000 tonnes of GHGs - equivalent to over 10,000 cars off the road for one year.
