Executive Director at Good Sun Solar (goodsun.life), a nonprofit dedicated to re-purposing used solar equipment to provide free and low cost power to low-income households, schools and other nonprofits. Our business model allows us to take used panels out of the solid waste stream (hazardous waste here in California) and turn them into free power for our partners.
Development Director/Trainer at Big Picture Learning Kenya (kenyabigpicture.org), a nonprofit dedicated to bringing project-based learning, internships, outside classroom educational opportunities and real world skills to schools in Africa's largest slums just outside Nairobi.

I'm deeply committed to doing right in the world, and believe the secret lies in partnerships between various entities, and in doubling or tripling efficiency and productivity through innovative solutions to common problems.  I spend a great deal of time thinking through ways to solve complex problems, including education, homelessness, energy resources, environmental concerns and social justice issues.
