Ericka Toledo Zurita is a sustainability practitioner with over 15 years experience in international cooperation projects. She has conducted international workshops in India, Germany and MExico on transformative leadership for sustainability. With a Masters in Science in Environmental Governance from the Albert-Ludwig University in Freiburg, Germany with support from DAAD, she has explored sustainable development in wide array of topics, including education, climate change, smart cities, water diplomacy and capacity building. She joined the ESD Expert Net, a network of experts in Education for Sustainable Development with partners from Germany, India, Mexico and South Africa, a key partner of UNESCO, aiming at advancing education as a means for achieving sustainability through transdisciplinarity and interculturality. She is a member of the Mexican Network of International Cooperation and Development, as well as a BIARI Alumni from Brown University in Rhode Island.
