A traveller at heart, an MBA by training, and an optimist, I entered the public policy realm by accident seven years ago. I was recruited on B-school campus in early 2010 by a senior bureaucrat to design communication strategy and uplift brand presence for the state of Gujarat (India’s western state with a population of over 60 million people). Since then, I have worked for the Commissionerate of Information (Gujarat), Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority, UNICEF India, and the Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW). I have recently moved to Hong Kong and continue to work with CEEW as a Strategic Communications Consultant. CEEW has been consistently ranked as one of South Asia's leading policy research institution (four years in a row); and has featured among the world’s 20 best climate think-tanks in 2016.
