Alessandra Salgado is an Associate Professional at IRENA working on innovation, patents and quality infrastructure for renewable energy. Before joining IRENA, she worked for 5 years in the private sector, at Mckinsey&Company and INTEL Corporation. Alessandra Salgado has a MSc degree on Sustainable Energy Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm. She graduated as an Industrial Engineer from the University of Costa Rica. Alessandra is person who enjoys doing sports, such as squash and soccer. She considers herself attached to nature and enjoy deeply being outdoors, doing hiking or camping.
