Currently, I am a Disaster Risk Reduction Management Specialist at Cape Verde UN Joint Office of UNDP, UNFPA and UNICEF (Environment Energy and Disaster Prevention Unit). International UN Volunteer. Previously, 2015-2016, I worked as a researcher at the Innovation and Technology for Development Centre (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (itdUPM). Madrid, Spain. Between 2013 and 2015 I have been working on several rural sustainable development and innovation projects in International Organisations such as the UNDP, the IICA (The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture) and National and Local Governments in Southeast Asia and Latin America. My research focus on DRRM/CRM, Drought Management related to Global Environmental Governance and Social and Service Innovation in some of the poorest communities in Africa (Sahel), Southeast Asia and Latin America.
