Member Profile
Glory hold a Master’s degree in Environmental Science with specialization in Environmental Planning and Management obtained from UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, the Netherlands and a BSc in Geography and Regional Planning from University of Uyo, Nigeria. Glory has extensive work and volunteer experiences in the nonprofit and private sector. As a Programmes Coordinator at Clean Energy and Safe Environment Initiative, Glory advocated actions and policy reforms to address climate change, desertification and renewable energy development in Nigeria and West Africa. In addition to other tasks, Glory coordinated stakeholder meetings and participated actively in advocacy for the creation of Climate Change Commission in Nigeria. She was also a pioneer member of the Gender and Climate Change Network Nigeria and a steering committee member of Nigerian Youth Climate Action Network which advocated for youth participation and gender mainstreaming in climate change mitigation and adaptation plans of Nigeria. After completing her master’s degree in the Netherlands, Glory volunteered at Women for Water Partnership and assisted in proposal development as well as with other task that helped enhance the organization’s mission of bridging the gender gap in the water and sanitation sector. Currently, Glory is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Future Green Environmental Services Limited (Future Green). Future Green provides project development, research and consulting services to address water, energy, and agriculture challenges in Nigeria
