Member Profile
I worked for eight years with the Colombian Institute of Anthropology and History as a research archaeologist. Since 2010 I work as the Director of the Colombia Heritage Program for Global Heritage Fund, through which we support conservation activities at Teyuna-Ciudad Perdida.
In addition to these activities I am usually called upon as an adviser by different public and private institutions regarding the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and its social groups (indigenous, peasants, NGOs, the State), project implementation and design, and previous consultation proceedings regarding social impact evaluations for various projects. I have an MA and a PhD in Anthropology, both from the University of Chicago
