I believe a proactive approach to remove CO2 from the atmosphere is a possibility. This link describes current knowledge of how ejecting CO2 to space would occur. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ionospheric_heater

New Livermore Lab capsules are also an example. They have a porous membrane that allows CO2 in and traps it for storage or recycling. This technology should be expanded on an industrial scale in Antarctica to store CO2 at -78*. CO2 naturally freezes here in the Winter. Infrastructure there and funding need approval. Once stored CO2 can be released at emergency conditions with approval of United Nations. Emergency conditions would be unforeseen circumstances of potential global winter situations. Gigatons of CO2 would be needed to tip the scale in favor of a better climate.
