Jill Kubit is interested in understanding how climate change impacts people, work, and communities. Jill has spent the majority of her career working on the intersection of labor and environmental issues at Cornell University's ILR School. Some highlights of this work include co-authoring the United Nations Environment Programme's global assessment report Green Jobs: Toward Decent Work in a Sustainable, Low-Carbon World and co-organizing the first conference in the U.S. on labor and climate change. Jill has experience developing and managing events, grants, partnerships and outreach, and communications. Jill has an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA from Northwestern University. A mom to an energetic 2 year old, Jill was inspired to join the WeKnew.org team from the first moment she heard the idea.
