Laurie is Natural Resource Management Specialist dedicated to collaboratively developing solutions to environmental challenges that honor the traditions and support the integrity of human communities. She specializes in developing strategy, programming, and capacity for climate change adaptation, conservation, and sustainable land management initiatives. Through more than 16 years of professional experience working with non-government, university, UN, and private sector organizations, she has developed expertise in program design and implementation, research, teaching/training, citizen science, technical writing, and monitoring and evaluation. Laurie, M.Sc. Resource Conservation, brings practice in the natural and social sciences to her work. She works closely with local communities, governments, and international partners. Laurie regularly presents at conferences and seminars and authors technical reports and journal articles. Her conservation and natural resource management experience includes over six years in developing countries in Asia and Africa and ten years in Montana.
