As a graduate student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, I use climate model simulations to investigate what drives (natural) climate change on long time scales. This kind of research helps climate scientists to better understand how sensitive the climate system is to various types of external forcing. As a Climate CoLab Catalyst I hope to use my knowledge of the climate system to help improve the proposals in the various contests.
