Currently, I am working as Executive Director at YESS- Youth Environmental and Social Service, besides this I am also providing technical support to International Society for Development and Sustainability, Japan. I have about 5 years of extensive professional experience on climate change and disaster risk management where I have been working to increase the community’s resilience against the impact of climate change and natural disasters. I have developed expertise in multidisciplinary research on sustainable development, natural resources management, environmental governance and management. I have significant number of publications in form of books (5), research papers (25) and articles (26). Academically, I completed my Bachelor (Hons) and Masters Degree in Environmental Sciences from Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh and I did fellowship (Research Innovation) in Environment and Sustainability from Japan. In addition, I was visiting scholar of University of Leuven, Belgium. Noted that I have been awarded for outstanding contributions on environmental activities and researches from different International bodies. I am affiliated in different societies at national and international level working in environment.
