Olumide Idowu reports on global issues and development in Nigeria (Africa) and also a Social Media Experts.

A tech savvy Journalist keen about using the new media as a tool to disseminate information, collaborate and stir up progressive interaction, Olumide serves as a freelance reporter for BroadStreetNG and recently awarded The CRANS MONTANA FORUM OF NEW LEADERS FOR TOMORROW base on his work and commitment for demonstrating integrity.

Back in the University at the University of Abuja, Olumide served as a freelance Tweet Reporter for YNaija, BroadStreetNG, AIESEC Nigeria, Youth Initiative Africa, Nigerian Youth Climate Coalition, among others, one of the national newspapers in Nigeria(Vanguard) Youthful Vibes. As part of his experience, he serves working as a freelance contributor and writer at CP-Africa.com, a news portal with focus on Africa tech, culture and business news. In January 2012, he was recruited to serve as a tweet expert for online Editor (and social media strategist) at YNaija and AIESEC Nigeria.

He also volunteered for a youth-led capacity building and involved in wonderful youth activities which includes Youth Initiative Africa as the Team Leader, AIESEC Nigeria and Nigeria Youth Climate Coalition (NYCC).

Presently he serves as a Head Social Media Department with the Worldview Mission International in The Netherlands.
