I explained to a contact on LinkedIn that I had a passion for the environment. That fact has been true for many years. That contact pointed me in the direction of Climate Colab. In the UK it seems that the usual scenario, that of consideration for economic growth beyond anything else, persists. What I've tried to do is provide the means whereby growth and consideration for both the environment and human well-being are integral. Sadly, I feel, the politicians do not understand. The proof, in the UK, is that today the very person who could do much to improve the environment has given the go-ahead for fracking.
The environment deserves far more than posturing politicians and if the latest climate news is to believed, so do we.
I can only thank the organisers of Climate Colab for the opportunity to at least propose one idea for maybe a chance to clean up our mess. Thanks again.
I'm qualified in electrical and electronic engineering but I spent most of my life in IT as an analyst/programmer (age got the better of me). I try to work independently now on real-world problems. I originally tried and failed to find a new energy source so I looked very closely at energy efficiency with the aim of finding something that in the past may have been forgotten or overlooked.
As an aside, when the reader has read what this proposal could mean, consider that the first generators were dynamos, producing half waves more than one hundred years ago. Potentially this is a very sad tale.
