Pratima have Master in Environmental Science and post graduate courses in Mountain Environment and Global Change, Natural Disaster Risk Management. She have more than 14 years of work experience in various fields like research, academia, humanitarian affairs, development, etc. Her major expertise is in  water resource management, disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation & mitigation, hydro-meteorology etc.
