Hi, the question I have is; how fast does the tide travel in places like the Bay of Fundy and the English Channel? Finding the speed of something is possible when you know the time and distance, right? Using the tide tables from tides.gc.ca and tides4fishing.com along with googlemaps.com to find different locations, what is the tidal speed that you come up with? Does the speed vary? I came up with some numbers. Do your figures match what I came up with? See the proposal Tidal Energy Power Plant from the Energy Supply 2016 contest on both the description and evaluation page for my answers. Please post a reply here and on the comment section of the proposal. Thanks for your help, Damian
