Hydrogen powered thermal mass oven to generate non-polluting steam for large scale electricity production
1. The basic idea entails dropping several large, insulated tubes down into the ocean (or into drilled holes in the bedrock on land) and placing pulley systems within these tubes.
2. These pulley systems will have aerodynamic buckets, turned upside down on them.
3. Then using an electrical cable containing an anode/cathode set up on the bottom. Electricity will be used to split water into hydrogen and oxygen gas. (Electrolysis)
a. These gases caught, and sent into separate buckets on the pulley system, will generate 8lbs of lift per gallon of gas. This torque on the pulley system will be used to turn a generator at the top, and generate electricity at the top.
b. This electricity (and solar power if needed) will be used to split the water into hydrogen and oxygen gas at the bottom.
4. This electricity will also be used to re-combine the hydrogen and oxygen gases in a hydrogen engine, which will turn a generator, and create much more electricity.
5. This electricity will be used to heat tungsten hot plates, which will be set under huge boilers to generate superheated steam.
a. The boilers themselves will be stood upright, maybe 40 of them, each 100ft high x 20ft around, in the middle of an concrete and steel steam pipe enclosed boiler room, that absorb all excess heat as it is trapped in this thermal mass oven.
b. This block house be painted black, and enclosed in vacuum sealed glass to make the outside a solar collector.
6. Further, the hydrogen engine exhaust, which is superheated steam (5,200 degrees Fahrenheit), will be piped into the boiler system, as well as into the electrolysis tube to heat it, thus making the electrolysis process more efficient.
7. The pressures at a 3000ft depth would be about 4000 psi, at no cost for compression and exceeds the pressures generally used during industrial electrolysis, and with temperatures at or near boiling this process will become very efficient.
a. Once this entire mass is heated up to operating temperatures, it can generate superheated steam, and electricity while coasting on the latent heat trapped within the concrete and steel block house itself.
(As a back-up system a simple fossil fuel engine and generator may be used to heat the tungsten hot plates)
This type of electrical generation would be clean, and very heat efficient, trapping the generated heat within the blockhouse mass, sealed in a vacuum sealed glass, theoretically approaching a 95% efficiency, making this set up greater than perpetual motion, as it will create more power than what it requires to run it.
Further it will not produce excess heat, or pollution, to further the global warming process.
