The proposal provides a useful description of Kenya's recent plastic bag ban, which is relevant to this contest and has the potential for significant impact on waste management challenges in Kenya. However, the proposal does not clearly describe how this project would contribute to the implementation, analysis, and/or evaluation of the ban. The proposal could be strengthened by narrowing and focusing on addressing one aspect of the plastic waste problem for now, identifying specific steps for how the team will implement a project and the funding required to do those. Although there are many great opportunities here, as it is now, the proposal is too broad.
