Christo Krastev Jul 7, 2017 03:13 ![]() | Proposal contributor Dear Ralf Lippoldq Thanks for your interest in "Black Pavilion" . The Black Pavilion building achieves its ultra energy efficiency by avoiding the conversion of solar energy into electric / no solar panels/ . The Black Pavilion building operates using the air convection of the sun-heated air masses, allowing for 80-90% efficiency from solar energy. Solar panels convert only 15-40% into electricity. A large number of "Black Pavilion" buildings can enhance the natural convection of the planet and contribute to its faster cooling. The staying of single buildings of the "Black Pavilion" type aims to create a favorable living environment in the increasingly aggravating conditions of the equatorial and subequatorial climate zones without the use of external energy. The "Black Pavilion" building produces drinking fresh water. |

Toby Ast Aug 10, 2017 02:48 ![]() | Would be interested to hear more about the building systems (Mechanical-Electrical-Plumbing), how those are powered, and what kind of maintenance is necessary. |
Teerth Brahmbhatt Aug 27, 2017 07:38 ![]() | Dear Christo, It would be helpful in your references to include some papers referring to the existing most efficient buildings within this region. In addition in the challenges section of the proposal, it would be worth while to include a section that addresses some of the problems faced by these very efficient buildings. It would be useful for example to use this recent publication as a good starting point for framing how your proposal addresses current issues within industry. Best Regards, Teerth Brahmbhatt |
Christo Krastev Aug 31, 2017 03:01 ![]() | Proposal contributor Dear Teerth Brahmbhatt Thank you very much for the information provided. I have experience of 7 years design of buildings and am professionally familiar with problems, architectural details and so on. Unfortunately, I have a problem uploading an image that gets very small and is not visible well. Also, I have a problem that I can not upload more than one project image. This greatly limits the performance of the project, unfortunately. The Black Pavilion project has a 3D visualization with explanatory notes.
