Harvesting Energy and Water From your Roof for Sustainable Living by LRWHF

Each of the ideas here--namely solar panels and rainwater harvesting--is being recommended by several sustainability advocates. The proposal reiterates these but needs to provide a practical pathway for their adoption, including an estimation of the relative costs involved (i.e., costs of solar electricity versus grid electricity; amortized costs of harvested rainwater versus costs of centralized water supply), and mechanisms through which the sustainable alternatives can be made bot affordable and competitive with conventional services.
