This is something that I could definately support myself. I'm doing lots of photography relating to
See http://cargocollective.com/jdnicholson/Heaton-Mersey-Common for examples of my work. I've also done photographic work in Delemere Forest and the Peak District. See http://www.corbisimages.com/Search#pg=jonathan+nicholson (sort date photographed to see the work which has been done recently).
This is something that I'd be more than happy to collaborate on. The topic/project greatly interests me and this would also fit in well with an online photojournalism course I'm doing with MIT. As well as a way to improve my photography.
I can also get in touch with the UK's Environment Agency to see if there's any specific work they are doing.
Good luck with the project.

Hello Maria,
Thanks for your proposal to the Climate CoLab. I'm one of the catalysts, helping provide comments and feedback, in an effort to help strengthen proposals.
Thank you for sharing your proposal for this collective of biographies and narratives about conservationists. This is an interesting concept, telling of personal histories, successes, and lessons-learned within the climate movement. I think this idea holds promise.
A few brief suggestions for your piece:
A) You might explore some different phrasing for your "pitch." I think it would help to clearly articulate in the pitch that this idea is about creating a collective of biographies. It's not entirely self-evident what the proposal is about the way its currently written.
B) Similarly, for the summary section, its not until the third paragraph that the core proposal idea is introduced. Perhaps there's a way to communicate the idea in the first few sentences, so people understand where you're headed right off the bat.
C) If the Wordpress site has launched, you might include a link to it in the proposal text.
Thanks for your contribution.

Hello Maria,
Thank you for the proposal.
The idea is encouraging and has potential to have the message communicated.
Hope to see the complete proposal in place.
All the best!
