Cyclone buster, this is truly an amazing idea. However, I believe society is so dumbed down that they will not be able to grasp it.

Advocates adoption of an ocean based energy system but does not cite any research or results from pilot tests that show the technology works. More appropriate for the electric power contest. Also, does not link to other proposals, as the contest prompt asks, but to other contests.

I keep getting comments as such.. This is a contest for submitting proposals...In my video that is in the proposal I show how water is moved uphill by kinetic Energy without the use of a pump which is a huge savings:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0fh_RXiEinU . The Kinetic Energy in the flowing water and the heat differential between surface and subsurface waters are the driving forces for the power generation part of my proposal. I am not a mechanical or electrical engineer nor am I a draftsman or architect... I submitted my proposal as a contestant for the contest.I did link such work for the OTEC portion of the concept in the proposal...
