Thank you very much for the proposal, the judges think it is a strong one!
We can see how a tool which can help companies analyze the environmental impact of their supply chain is a necessary development, and there are sevaral tools in the works (the references in the proposal are good starts).
Judges also liked the specificity of the solution and practicality of implementation, but noted that the proposal could have included more detail.
We think you should continue to work the execution details: how are you going to work to convert this from a thesis into a product?

Proposal is still cursory and did not respond to comments provided the Judges in their initial review. But this seems like a non-flashy thing that might actually work and could be an order of magnitude more influential than some of the other ideas presented here. We would urge the authors to re-submit in the future.
