2013 conference

Winners of the 2012-13 Climate CoLab contests will be invited to present their ideas at a conference, co-organized by the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence (CCI) and MIT Energy Initiative (MITEI), to be held at MIT September 17-18.

The tentative title of the conference is: What Can We Really Do About Climate Change?

At the event, the top proposal from all 2012-13 entries will be awarded a grand prize of $10,000.

We hope the prize can help the winner to advance their ideas toward implementation.

The conference is designed to attract scientists, policy makers, executives, investors, and officials from non-profit/non-governmental organizations.

At sessions where contest winners present, they will receive feedback and advice from potential implementers on how to move their ideas forward.
