I am a Product/Marketing professional who crafts Cause Related Marketing and Corporate Responsibility at a global level while fusing long-term Sustainability solutions. My emphasis is in lifestyle product and marketing of athletic and fashion industry.
I drive change through influencing cross functional teams of executives, design, manufacturing, merchandising, sales, buyers and licensees.
Currently, I lead Hurley's H2O and other Social Responsibility/Sustainability efforts for the Surf and Lifestyle brand. I collaborate with NGO's to help educate and activate water programs and relief efforts. Over the last few years, we have helped millions of people gain access to clean water.
My past roles brought Creative Capitalism to the footwear industry with (PRODUCT) RED where I led the effort to expand African Industry while expanding corporate profits.
I interacted with business leaders, artists and community shapers in all regions. During my leadership, portions of the profits raised helped over 15k people in the fight against AIDS.
I was also responsible for and launched the 1st String category creating unique, limited edition product offerings for taste-makers to drive future growth. Later, promoted to Senior Product Director and interrum GM for ONE STAR, I helped lead product team for value channel with brand right opportunities driving volume and profit.
Prior to Converse and Hurley, I worked at Nike for over ten years in Marketing roles and as a Buyer for Nike Retail (NikeTowns/Women Stores/Factory Outlets). I left Nike for a year to travel the world to expand global knowledge and expand network.
I have had some of the best jobs in the industry and have met some amazing people.
