Member Profile
Chen Han is a Ph. D candidate in Center For Earth System Science, Tsinghua University, China. He holds a B.S. in Remote Sensing Science and Technology from Wuhan University (2012). His research focuses on the improvement and application of the biogeochemical model DNDC (i.e., DeNitrification-DeComposition), which involves the enhancement of plant growth sub-model for large-scale biomass modeling and integration of dynamic soil processes. Major research questions address the dynamic evaluation of the impact of drought on agricultural yields and sustainable agricultural management practices exploration. His recent work will report his most recent progresses in the identification of optimal water and N fertilizer management practices in paddy fields and their potential ecological impacts in China.
