I, Sanghamitra Roy, completed my undergraduate studies in Architecture from University of Calcutta and postgraduate studies in City Planning from University of Pennsylvania.

I worked in the industry both in India and abroad for 13 years before shifting to academics in 2006. While in industry, I had the opportunity to work on wide range of projects – institutional, recreational, residential, commercial and industrial. I am currently working as a professor in Faculty of Architecture, Manipal University, India.

My areas of interest are urban structure, land use, and transportation planning.
