Csilla V Gal is an architectural engineer from Budapest, Hungary, where she worked as an architectural technologist. She recently completed her interdisciplinary dissertation that examined the influence of built form on the urban microclimate and evaluated the effectiveness of common urban heat island mitigation strategies. Prior to completing her Ph.D., Csilla studied Solar Energy Engineering in Sweden. She has worked on projects ranging from solar panel installations in remote areas of Panama to a climate vulnerability assessment of a dense urban district in Budapest.
