I served as a Climate Colab fellow for the urban adaptation contest in 2012-2013. At that time, I was a dual degree master's student at the Tufts Urban Planning School and Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. I focused my studies in energy and environmental planning and policy approaches to the development of sustainable cities, with a focus on China. I hold a BA in History of Asia and the Middle East from the University of California Santa Cruz.
As of January 2014, I am the Cities Manager for North America for CDP. CDP is an international, not-for-profit organization providing the only global system for companies and cities to measure, disclose, manage and share vital environmental information. As of 2014, more than 4,500 global companies report and 110 cities to CDP. As the Cities Manager, I work with municipalities in the U.S. and Canada to report on their ghg emissions, mitigation strategies, climate risks and vulnerabilities and adaptation/resiliency planning. Prior to joining CDP, I served as an Environmental Defense Fund Climate Corps Fellow for the City of Philadelphia Mayor's Office of Sustainability to support the City's climate adaptation planning efforts.
