| Proposal contributor To Jan Daniel Semrau: The original inspiration is for low height (100m to 1000m) personal commuting vehicle to dilute car-congested city road, but easy scale up to any app, e.g. airbus equivalent passenger plane, or cargo transportation; also more easy scale down to any app, e.g. spy tool, aerophotography, e-commerce shipping carrier, etc. |

| Proposal contributor I am not sure whether low height sky, such as under 100 meters , is allowed for free civil aviation. In general city, it seems no building is higher than 100m, isn't it? Low height aviation is more safe than high sky. I think if an aerocar crashed from 100m height, the driver can have high chance to survive.

| Jet propeller is the King in plane industry. Humankind is proud of smarter than God who only know how to create flapping-wing creatures. Not easy, boy, I bet, your pseudo-flapping-wing shutter propeller, there is a long long way to R&D. I know that converting lithium battery power into pulse power for your drone app is not hard, but how to convert regular diesel engine power into sharp pulse power to fire your shutters? this must be the key for heavy duty use. Good luck!

| Proposal contributor Jake: Thanks for your comments. You are wrong, humankind nothing worthy of proudness when facing God, we only worship God, not worship government! Don't discourage me, my showcase will debut soon. I have laid down foundation for a new science: Dielectrodynamics, yes, not typo, not electrodynamics, and I coined that new word, and will publish a textbook to teach students how to convert rotary or reciprocal motion into high voltage pulse power supply, or vice versa (high voltage pulse powerful dielectric motor). Below is its sketch: For work principle, please read the quasi-textbook: Dielectrodynamics and Applications http://vixra.org/pdf/1704.0386v2.pdf I will add this figure to my proposal soon. |

| Proposal contributor The pulse (high Voltage) can not be too high, otherwise, it may become a Z-pinch machine! Only workable HV magnitude with decent SF (Service Factor) 1.5 is good enough for powerful pulse punch of shutter or umbrella. For reference, check Sandia Lab official website: http://www.sandia.gov/z-machine |

| Proposal contributor If the pulse punch transient speed of shutter or umbrella is 35+ m/s, it creates a local miniature "hurricane" underneath at category 1, else if 70+ m/s, then category 5, just like the historical record-breaking super hurricane Irma of Sep. 2017! just imagine how strong the propulsion. Today, the Irma is terribly disk-sawing Florida, luckily its strength reduced to category 2! God bless Florida! |

| Great design!!! There are many similar starter companies all over world in this aero-car field, for examples: Lilium jet, Volocopter, Terrafugia, Zee.Aero, Kitty Hawk, Aero Mobil, Moller International, Joby Aviation. But unfortunately, none successful in commercialization until today, though huge investment spent. All the existing developers, either jet mode, or rotary propeller mode, only this guy chose shutter or umbrella mode which is the most difficultiest mode. Why not support this talented guy a try? Maybe he can success! Perhaps, this guy will become the next top #1 famous inventor as Da Vinci or Tesla in the world.

| Proposal contributor To Jose: thanks for your appreciating comments. Yes, we are the only player to develop personal aerial vehicle with planar propulsion technology embodied with reciprocal shutter or umbrella pulse propeller system. I believe that the shinning features of vertical take-off & suspending hover & lightweight & fuel economy will make it the best choice of transportation for human beings.

| Proposal contributor I don't have enough money to apply patents in those countries with small market prospect, therefore, if anyone or entity in those countries wish take advantage of exclusive rights for your max profit, you can pay me small lump-sum buyout fee (negotiable, for example, a very tiny country may only charge as low as $5K) for locally registering patent with your name as owner and me as inventor, otherwise if nobody acts, then free to use for everyone without privilege of monopoly & royalty in those small-market countries. I can help you set the priority date for your local application. Act as soon as possible, if anyone has the great ambition in those small countries, otherwise good opportunity will vanish! Just send email to admin@kiwaho.com to inquiry whether your country is listed in my private give-up list. |

| Proposal contributor This is human powered flapping plane built by Toronto aviation hobbyists:
Fly speed is slow, though faster than bicycle. It need a car to tug a rope for distant sliding take-off. Of course, if most guys ride this space killers, then city parking lot not affordable. |

| Proposal contributor Hi Mark: thanks for your recommendation. Jet engines are only good for heavy duty application. If for light duty application, very low efficient & expensive! The turbine or propeller in jet engine works in far hotter condition than regular internal combustion engine, that is why it needs special refractory alloy made of massive extreme expensive material: Rhenium, with an average price of approximately US$2,750 per kilogram.
My aviation innovative pulse shutter propeller can be driven by cheap regular internal combustion engine, and work in cold atmosphere, generate far stronger pulse propulsion, yet stronger in temporal average. Both heavy duty and light duty applications can economically use pulse shutter propellers. |

| Proposal contributor Many countries have set time schedule for termination of internal combustion engine driven vehicles. In near future, electric car will prevail everywhere. Therefore, electric aero-car should also follow the trend in a steep jump. With equivalent rechargeable lithium battery module used in electric car, developing high efficient pulse power supply based on the said battery, plus the shutter/umbrella propeller, then the light duty electric aero-car era will come soon! |

| I have a large pulse power supply, very heavy, it may eat the plane too much payload, I think. I can donate it to you if you like. |

| Proposal contributor Hi Sam: thanks for your equipment donation. It is a AC-DC pulse power supply. If wired to heavy duty diesel AC generator, it does output powerful pulse. But probably such a combination will eat all payload of a plane, thus hopeless to take off from ground. Anyway I can accept for experimental research, let's fix the freight shipping. I will build a DC-DC pulse power supply from scratch with CMOS power transistors, then combine with a lithium battery module of a car, so as to prototype an electric aero-car. Thank Sam once again! |

| You guys don't know Canada great achievement in cold war time: we build a vertical takeoff Avrocar, like a UFO? It is still not commercialised, why not continue the effort on this model? |
Yanming Wei Sep 19, 2017 08:26

| Proposal contributor To Kent: The Avrocar uses Coanda effect which is too weak to make practical use in aviation. Just to follow the Great Nature, the omnipotent Creator, can we success eventually! Humanity can not try to arrogantly be teacher of the Great Nature, we are only forever humble students of the Creator. |

| Our remote northern Canadians always suffer from Gordian knot of transportation, dream cargo airlifters can serve us someday soon. I heard UK made a huge airship Airlander with 10 to 50 tons capacity, but with amazing super size and huge volume helium gas filled! http://www.hybridairvehicles.com Why poor Canada government not to address us avid demand? If your invention can be commercialized, you are our aboriginals savior. |
Yanming Wei Sep 19, 2017 04:16

| Proposal contributor To Dill: Yes, by using shutter propellers matrix, the cargo aerial lifter can only need a fraction of Airlander occupied volume, because the density difference between air & helium can only generate fixed small floating force, a very shy 1.2kg per cubic meter at max! It depends on how fast of punching shutters after pulse power applied. According to aerodynamics, the reacted pressure P = 0.5*density*square-of-velocity. Unlike airship, herein the lifting force has nothing to do with volume, that is why the volume of cargo ornithopter can be shrunk to very compact size. Reference: Wind velocity & wind load: |

| We wish customize a small device that can vertically take off ground and rise to stratosphere or mesosphere, then stay there for some time span to sample atmosphere or measure cosmic ray flux, then gently land on same ground. It is better to be powered by rechargeable battery. Can your shutter-propeller small airplane satisfy us to meet this mission?

Yanming Wei Sep 19, 2017 09:35

| Proposal contributor To Dan: Air in stratosphere mostly moves horizontal, and the velocity can be as high as 50 m/s at max. The air density reduces greatly with the increase of altitude, for example: @ sea level 1.2kg/m^3; @ 15km 0.2kg/m^3; @ 50km 1g/m^3. The counterforce of punching shutter is proportional with air density, thus punching speed should increase with square root of density decrease ratio, so as to maintain same lifting force, that needs more powerful pulse to fire shutters. At specific location, the wind in stratosphere is weak, then it maybe possible to pass through stratosphere for mesosphere, but still very difficult. Suspension in sky is possible by setting proper duty cycle of firing pulse, though small vertical fluctuation is inevitable. Anyway, we can undertake a project to research & customize your demand. |

| Proposal contributor The 2-seat aero-car fuel efficiency with pulse shutter propeller is estimated about 4L per 100km, gross weight 800kg, max speed 300km/h. If powered by lithium battery, 20 kiwaho / 100km, great improvement both in energy efficiency & empty weight! NB: 1 kiwaho (I coined this new word) = 1 Kilowat-hour. |

| Proposal contributor Humankind used to convert energy by constant power, and the stable rotary motion is regarded as mother motion; in contrast, the Great Nature used to convert energy by pulse power, for examples: flapping wings, storm burst, sperm ejaculation, snake tongue-thrust, etc. Never see animals, fishes or birds with rotary propeller! Although the pristine gas explosion in cylinders of a combustion engine is quasi pulse power, however, humankind still preferentially flatten it into constant torque output in rotary motion. Therefore, the key of biomimic is how to master the pulse power conversion! It is specially true in biomimic aviation.

| The proposer so funny, even thought of pulse of ejaculation when concoct this invention! Although all human beings are created via the said pulse, but I guess it is not necessary, even smooth spray of sperm, can still have reproduction underway, every fertile man can validate my claim if you disbelieve and can let sperm smoothly flow out without orgasm. Hence, non-pulse regular rotary propeller can drive airplane perfectly. However it is really worth of a try to apply pulse energy for propulsion. |
