Dear Natalie

Thank you for submitting an interesting civil concept for the Brazilian context.  It will be useful it you could also expand on a feasible budget for this initiative.

best wishes

Monika

Monika, thanks.

Do we need to stick to the grand prize potential resources? Or the budget is the overall one?

This is an excellent idea and improved information for planning and decision making is an essential part of adaptation. I think it's also important that the information is demand driven.  To this end, I suggest you add an assessment component that will help determine what type of information and in what format will be most useful to your audiences.

Climate smart Brazil team,

Last day to make refinements to your proposal. Looking forward to seeing the final version.

You proposal a protocol for the integration of climate data into public life, and suggest a coalition of Mayors; however, no specifics on the components of the agenda are offered. Would the Mayors suggest the adaptation agendas, and if so, what is keeping them from doing it now? What is the key element of the proposal? Would you develop the agenda and offer it to the Mayors?

Good luck!

Dear Participant, excellent idea but you have to bear in mind the legal rules established by the central government of Brazil as well as the large amount consequences of any decision on this subject, only, in a city and without doubt in the countryside (tale a look on ideas like "smart cities"). Be aware of the differences between regions in a big country like Brasil, what is good for Bahía or Manaos would not be useful, might be, in Matto Grosso. Cheers.

Dear Natalie

Apologies for delayed response - no, you do not need to stick the the grand prize budget, the budget should be aligned to the needs of your project.

best wishes
