Price Pollution, Cut Carbon: A National Dialogue to Address Climate Change by PCI

Encouraging a national dialogue on carbon pricing is meritorious. The authors recognize the challenge by acknowledging that a number of the participants in such dialogues "have remained unwilling to publicly acknowledge their interest in pricing carbon." Mass public mobilization is an unrealistic objective given the complexity of the issue, but such dialogues could be helpful in reaching opinion leaders.
