The idea behind this proposal is to devise innovative ways of solid waste minimization in the developing countries with focus on the higher institutions. There are lots of solid wastes generated across many higher institutions inform of memo to the members of staff, time-table information to the students, examination results, religious, entertainment and campus political campaign posters, business advertisements etc.Many of these paper-based information dissemination strategies can be carried out on electronic (TV) and ICT platforms as well as internet.

The proposed idea will leverage on the internet and mobile phone platforms as well as TV.
These platforms will be used for paid adverts instead of what used to be paper-based information dissemination strategies. The revenue generated will be used to maintain the facilities and other equipment.
The internet will be used to send bulk messages to the prospective clients and customers.
A video channel will also be created for the advert contents online. This channel can also be used as an advertistment platform for greening other businesses based on traffic to this video channel.
Phone numbers and email addresses will be harvested from prospective willing clients and customers for information dissemination
Big screen TVs will be put at strategic locations on campuses for information dissemination
