I'm interested in the link with economic growth. Why not correct prices for externalities and use the funds to subsidise activities that cut consumption? Wouldn't this reverse the link so consumption falls and growth rises?

I noticed earlier today that support thumbs up had disappeared on quite a few proposals... including my thumbs up for others' proposals... what's going on?

Uh oh! Is this still happening? Copy of reply to your other similar comment: Thanks Pia for the heads up. Seems to be working on the contests I checked just now but pls let me know if you see this again. I recommend our discussion on bug reporting that helps us keep track of this kind of important feedback :-) https://www.climatecolab.org/web/guest/discussion#discussion%3DpageType%3ACATEGORY%2CcategoryId%3A12502 Regards, James
