Policy makers

Governmental policy makers and the citizens who influence their decisions will be primary audience for the results of the Climate CoLab contests.

For the 2011 contest, the Climate CoLab project staff is working to plan briefings on the contest results at the United Nations and U.S. Congress.

For the 2010 contest, the winning teams presented their proposals at two briefings:

  • one to the United Nations Secretary General's Climate Change Support Team (New York, NY)
  • one on Capitol Hill sponsored by the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Energy Independence and Global Warming (Washington, DC).

For the 2009 Contest, a white paper summarizing the contest results was delivered to the UN officials at the Copenhagen conference.
