How to create new proposals

Creating new proposals

Before creating a new proposal, you'll need to register or log-in at the upper right corner of this window.

If you're already logged in, your screen name will already be showing in the upper right corner.

To create a new proposal, you can either:

  • click the "Create a new proposal" button here
  • go to an existing proposal and click the link called "Create new proposal based on this" near the upper right of the screen.

Then you can:

  • fill in the Description tab
  • specify proposed actions in the Actions tab
  • click the "Run model" button at the bottom of the page to see the Impacts of your Actions.
  • to publish your proposals for others to vote on, click the "Publish proposal" link on the Administration tab.

Once you have published the proposal, you'll no longer be able to change it.

You can also add other Members to the team that can edit your proposal.

To do this, the other members will have to go to the Administration tab of the proposal and click the link called "Request membership."

Then you can go to the Administration tab and approve their requests.
