To make the proposal a contest entry, select "An entry in the contest" from the Admin tab.
After making your proposal a contest entry you can continue to edit it up until the proposal deadline. So if your proposal is almost ready you can go ahead and make it an entry then relax about remembering to enter before the deadline.
