CoLab news and publicity

Tips for Articles

Ask to review text before publication.

Please ask for article and twitter sharing to include the twitter name @ClimateCoLab so people who hear about the project on twitter can follow us. This avoids getting lots of retweets that don't mention us or link to us.

Help journalists distinguish between collective intelligence and democracy. Eg Treehugger, "MIT's Climate CoLab aims to construct an effective democratic consensus on how best to address global warming across the international community." The CoLab operates with high democratic participation within its community and it supports wider democracy by providing an open door for proposals that would otherwise be ignored by mainstream politics - but we probably can't claim to be engaging the international community democratically?

Avoid articles saying 'submit' - a bit dalek ;-)
