What actions do you propose?

While the Climate Plan lets local areas decide what works best (provided targets are met), it makes most sense to replace fuel by energy generated in clean ways and to store it in the batteries in electric vehicles that can sell some energy to the grid at times of high demand, as pictured below.

Note that, rather than 'setting a price on carbon in the U.S.', the primary goal of the Climate Plan is to reduce the risk of catastrophic warming. Cutting emissions is only one of the Climate Plan's multiple lines of action that are to be implemented in parallel.

The action discussed here focuses on the United States, as this is the question posed by this contest, but similar action could be taken elsewhere. As said, the Climate Plan lets local areas decide what works best, provided targets are met. Many different feebates can be implemented in parallel (depending on local preferences), each targeting cuts in certain emissions (CO2, methane, N2O, soot, etc) and/or other lines of action.
