I am one of the world's leading and most highly cited climate scientists. I was Director of

the Climatic Research Unit from 1979 to 1993, then a Senior Scientist at NCAR until

2006. I currently have honorary positions at NCAR, at the University of East Anglia, and at

Curtin University (Perth, Western Australia) and an ARC Research Fellowship at the University

of Adelaide.
